Medical transport

MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICE

The medical transportation service is intended for Aboriginal people living outside their community. It is aimed at facilitating travel for medical reasons and appointments outside their place of residence.

TARGET CLIENTELE

Aboriginal people who are not covered by a contribution agreement and residing in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Nord-du-Québec regions.

Important 
  • All transports must be pre-authorised by a medical transportation officer, and medical appointments must be confirmed 24 hours in advance.

Medical transportation is not provided within city limits.

Monday to Friday
8:30 am to 12 noon and

1:00 pm to 4:30 pm 

Only emergency cases are accepted outside office hours.
