The Minowé Clinic is a health resource integrated to the local network of health and social services of the Vallée-de-l’Or area. It facilitates Aboriginal persons’ access to culturally relevant and safe health and social services. It actively contributes to engaging the Aboriginal community as the primary actor in global health improvement through practices consistent with First Peoples’ culture.

SERVICES TO EXPECTANT MOTHERS, CHILDREN 0 TO18 AND THEIR FAMILY 
  •  Birth control
  • Pre- and postnatal follow-up
  • Vaccination 0-5 year-olds
  •  Evaluation of 3 year-old children

CHRONIC DISEASE PREVENTION
  • Screening and support to diabetic persons
  • Prevention and promotion of healthy lifestyles
  •  Flu vaccination campaign

PSYCHOSOCIAL INTERVENTION
  • Family issues
  • Couple relationship, child behaviour, neglect, addiction
  • Youth in difficulty 
  •  Information and support in the Youth Protection process
